......go boating ;D
As you now all know, we've got "stuff" goin' on over here! Unfortunately, at this point, we have more questions than answers, so I don't really have much more to tell you right now. I will update as I learn more and am able to share. We're in the middle of constant house "showings"...almost on a daily basis. In fact, every day of the last 3 weeks (with the exception of 2)....not fun. We've spent more time cleaning and getting out of our house than we have in our house lately, not able to enjoy the pool, and not able to relax.
That's why we were so thankful for a break over the 4th of July. A planned camping trip turned out to be more fun than we could have imagined, and we were so thankful for the opportunity to get to go out on the lake on a boat!!!
We were able to try our luck at both tubing and water skiing!
And some of us even got to drive the boat :D
Unfortunately....
about half way through the day
my camera battery died
so I wasn't able to get all the pictures I wanted,
but fortunately (!) for me
Emily had her camera!
Sophie loves to be tortured when it comes to sports....
(as you can tell by the expression on her face)
She just keeps giving us the thumbs up to go faster and hit the waves :D
And then she does stunts ;D
Allie on the other hand.....
is a bit more laid back ;D
She tried her hand at water skiing, but never got much past this point!
Sophie, however, showed us once again that she can do ALL things!
Uh....yeah. I have no plans to try the stunt below anytime soon! I did try to water ski....tried 5x in fact....but I just couldn't get up :(
But Josh did!!! And on his second try he was up and going for a long time!
And of course he had to show his big sister up and do the one-handed maneuver too :D
I just want to thank all of you so VERY VERY much for all your encouraging thoughts and prayers! It's never easy when your life is thrown into chaos, but the support that you all have shown has been such a blessing in my life. And as I said in my previous post, we may not know the full plan yet, but we do know who is in control.
And with God's grace, we will be just fine. We are thankful for every moment we have together and we know that our blessings far exceed our struggles.
In closing, after over 4 years of blogging, I received my first piece of what I am going to call "hate mail" the other day in response to my previous blog post. It was anonymous. While I'm not going to address the issue here on my blog, let me be clear....
I have never asked for anyone to read my blog. I have never asked for anything with the exception of prayers, and for those I am eternally grateful. I make very little money off of this blog (between $30-$50 per month) from the Blogher ads on my sidebar. If you don't like my blog, feel free to not read it. If you have a question for me, please ask.....don't assume. You do not know me, you only know what I post on this blog that is primarily meant to be a way to stay in touch with close family and friends. We have moved so many times in our lives that this is one of the only ways we can share our world.
I so much appreciate the love and support that I receive from so many of you, and I wouldn't ever want to jeopardize the trust that you have in me. I have never lied or intentionally tried to mislead anyone, and if you feel that I have wronged you in some way...I am sorry. However, I have asked for nothing and you can simply choose not to read here. Finally, if you have something to say to me....don't do it anonymously.

Silvia from Canada:)
The pictures are amazing! It looks like you all had so much fun. After reading your blog lately, with all the water pictures. (It has been 100 and over here.)I keep telling my husband we need to plan a trip to the lake or the beach. Ha! It looks so refreshing. I think he is agreeing since the next 7 days are going to be over 103.
I have been reading your blog for a long time. I can't imagine anyone wanting to send you hate mail. Some people just don't know what to do with their time. I love your blog Jenny.
I am praying that all will go smooth in this next journey you are about to take.
Through God, ALL things are possible!
I just love your blog! I enjoy hearing about the children, all the things you do as a family, and the fun and love you have with and for one another. I was thrilled to see the big smiles on everyone's faces today--I've been imagining the worst things and so glad to see the happy faces and hear that you are "resting in His grace".
Please don't stop blogging because of a negative response--you and your family are loved by many as evidenced by the responses you get. I have so enjoyed your family news and pictures!
I am saddest that you will have to leave the pool--the pictures of all those kids enjoying the pool was such a blessing
I'm sure you are so thankful that you are home schooling and won't be subjecting the kids to the upheaval of changing schools.
I will continue to pray for you through out the days ahead. You have a strong family, united together in the bonds of Christ. May He make the "crooked" places straight.
Blessings
