A Georgia campfire!

Tonight, we had our first official campfire in our new firepit!

We made the firepit ourselves, and we still have plans to cut logs and make more seating, but we're able to enjoy it in the meantime :D

We did s'mores tonight....yum!

Matthew really liked the yummy treats :D

Caleb had a great time trying to stick marshmallows on anything he could find!

Emily kept roasting the perfect marshmallows!

Sophie had an upset stomach, but that didn't stop her from eating s'mores ;D

Can you tell we went straight from the pool to the firepit?!

We sang the Sponge Bob campfire song.....

And took turns telling stories....

It was lots of fun!

Emily kept the fire going for us....

Tomorrow, we WILL get the swing set started....it's the last big thing we have to do and it's time to get it done!!

I wish everyone could see the pool at night with the lights on!  It looks so awesome!  And the other fun thing about the pool at night are the tree frogs that come out to sit on the pool deck and croak.....loudly!  The boys have really enjoyed catching them- it's becoming a nightly routine ;D
