Her name is Ruby, and she is a lop-ear :D
We have a hutch for her that we keep in the entry area of our basement. We're still not sure as to whether she will be a house bunny or not.....
But we're in the process of litter-training her, and she seems to get the idea, so anything is possible ;D
We took her outside yesterday for the first time so the kids could enjoy her!
She found a favorite spot under Allie's legs in the cool shade!
We're excited to have a pet that we can truly enjoy, snuggle and hug :D And since the kids are home all day every day, we're looking forward to teaching them how to properly care for a pet!

random comment but i saw your tweets about your girls needing a job, and wanted to tell you about a nanny website. care.com . you can find nanny jobs around your area, how many kids, pictures of the family, price range, and schedules of what is needed. since your girls are so good with kids, nannying is an awesome job! i've met several families from there and it has been awesome. :)
