Show us your life- vacations!

Hey everyone- I'm finally getting up a post for Friday! Today is my final day of "carnival week," and it's been a lot of fun- thanks so much to those of you that helped me out yesterday with the launch of my own carnival Top Tip Thursday!

Today I'm joining Kelly's Korner for her Show us your life- favorite vacations! One of our most favorite family vacations was back in November, 2005, when we took a cruise to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. We lived in Montana at the time, so it was great to go from snow and cold to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! Here are my parents:

We took this picture shortly after arriving on the ship- we had just flown down to California from Montana, and we were still dressed for the cold!

We had lots of fun at dinner- well, all except for my dad that is! He tried to play along, but couldn't quite get into it!!! Just kidding of course- this serious face was just for fun ;-) He was afraid to smile and lose the spoon!!
My sister was the one that always played this game when she was little!! So happy she brought it back..... although, after she sees this, she may NOT be!!!
After several days of sunburn, we had formal pictures taken! Here are my parents....
And Zack and I- and now might be a good time to mention that I was about 27 weeks pregnant with Matthew (baby #6) at the time!!

Oh yeah, for those of you that didn't know us back then (ya know, before my blogging days!), this was just after Zack got his top set of braces on- several months later, he got the bottoms on too!!

Well, that's it for now! Trying to get this post done was a nightmare- I'm up to my eyeballs in medical stuff right now!!!!!!!!!! Emily is barely managing the pain, but I knew that would probably happen since they sawed off 4 of her toes and put pins in them. I just didn't realize I would have to become a nurse to deal with everything her care now entails ;-) Not complaining, but I will get a post up tomorrow with new pictures and more details- thanks so much for all prayers!!
