Scentsy!

I have the warmer in my kitchen on right now, and I am loving my new scent "grove & clove!!" If you love oranges and cloves, this one is fabulous, and it's definitely one of the stronger scents. I am so excited for this weekend- I was invited to a holiday boutique where I will have a table and will be able to sell Scentsy! How this all came about is a really neat story- I attended a friend's jewelry party last week, and a lot of the ladies there have their own small businesses (jewelry, bags, Mary Kay, etc). It came up that a very wealthy family is having their "Holiday Boutique" this weekend and that it is open to the public. My friend then emailed me the info. with times and location, and when it came, I noticed that the lady who hosts it had her email address on it, and I decided to send her an email and ask if she would be willing to add me to her list of vendors- what did I have to lose? She sent back that she would love to have me because she doesn't have any candle companies represented, but she was already overcrowded and had to turn vendors away. She said she needed to map it all out and she'd let me know. I didn't hold my breath, but the very next night she called and said she would squeeze me in because she loves candles so much and was excited about Scentsy! It turns out that she started this boutique thing a few years ago as a Christmas present to all her friends that sell things. She lets everyone set up in her home for a whole day free of charge!!! It's gotten so big, that hundreds of people come from all over the area- as far away as Liberty, Mo. She said she has women's groups and clubs that come, not to mention all the teacher's and staff at the schools and all the parents- they are a well-connected family! Josh actually went to their daughter's birthday party last month, and it was incredible- a D.J. and everything (for a 10yr-old)! I still can't believe I'm going to be selling Scentsy there!!! I will take pics of my display and post them when it's all over- wish me luck!
